Excuse the weird title, but I can't not share this with everyone! As many of my EME6414 friends may be wrapping up their community observation papers, I came across a post today that lead me to this site that I have NEVER HEARD OF BEFORE. Okay, sorry -- I really despise typing in all caps but felt like it was necessary. Who has heard is imgur?? Their slogan is "life is short. smile while you have teeth" 😄. Apparently, it's a community powered entertainment destination to share trending memes, gifs, stories, and viral videos. Perhaps we will learn more about this platform in the weeks to come, but these memes and such have me wondering about intellectual property and copyright...like the Bernie Sander's meme that went viral last year.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you liked this! I asked my S.O. if he had heard of IMGUR and said of course. So, maybe I was a little behind in finding this gem but it provided me with a lot of laughs.
