Hello! We made it to the middle of the week and rather showing you some of my beekeeping inspections (which I still might do later this week)...I thought it would be fun to share some of my top LinkedIn tips since we are diving into personal learning networks further this week.
Enjoy and please add your tips as a comment on my blog. P.S. it's okay if you want to fast forward to skim for the main take away tips 😉
Hi Emily, I really enjoyed your vlog. I appreciate the tips. I have never tried LinkedIn learning. Do you know if the courses you take on LinkedIn learning show up on Your LinkedIn profile or just when/if you post them? I love getting certificates. Out of curiosity, do you put any of your LinkedIn learning on your resume?
ReplyDeleteHi Lissa, if you complete a LinkedIn Learning course you can earn a certificate but it will only show up in your profile if you choose to post/share it. You could potentially add LinkedIn Learning courses on your resume. It just might depend on what courses you complete and how they may be relevant to your career goals. For example, I have an "Additional Training" section of my resume where I would include the Articulate 360 LinkedIn Learning course that I completed. Below is an example of how you could format it on your resume!
DeleteADDITIONAL TRAINING
Articulate360, LinkedIn Learning Certificate of Completion, February 2021
Organizational Leadership, LinkedIn Learning Certification of Completion, March 2021
Thank you for sharing that example! I like the idea of having additional training to a resume. I always want to add things like this because it is how I learn tools, but they're a kind of informal learning and I wonder if they are appropriate to add to your resume. Placing these under "additional learning" is a great idea! Thank you!
